Essential Oil “Energy Series” – Energy Drink Recipe

April 19, 2016 By April Unruh Leave a Comment

Energy Drink

We all have days that we need a little extra energy boost. This energy drink recipe will not only give you energy but it will give your body the nutrients it needs to boost your immune system and fight off colds or flu.

What makes this the ideal energy drink?

  1. It contains water to hydrate you (if you are dehydrated at all, you will feel tired and sluggish). If you need additional electrolytes you can use coconut water instead.
  1. It only uses natural sugar found in orange, lemon and lime juice and honey (or maple syrup). There is no ultra processed white sugar or high fructose corn syrup found in some energy drinks.
  1. The sea salt provides the needed electrolytes especially after a workout.

All other ingredients are optional but highly recommended for your extra immunity boost.

They include:

  • coconut oil to balance your blood sugar levels
  • Vanilla and nutmeg for amazing taste
  • Raw Apple Cider vinegar for raw enzymes and gut-friendly bacteria that promote healing
  • Essential Oils:  Orange, Lemon, Lime and Mint Essential Oils from doTERRA.  These essential oils are beneficial for detoxing, and to energize you physically and mentally. I only recommend doTERRA essential oils as I know they are pure and food grade.  Please don’t use any other brand as they may not be pure and may cause you harm.  Read more about ingesting oils here.  Find out how you can buy therapeutic grade oils at wholesale prices here.
